HI to all, i am into a new project - the 2nd one using SS3. So far, i like it a lot.

Ive ask my sources about a commercial module (like e-commerce) builded for SS3. My reliable source suggested i use Swipestripe.

Does anyone worked with this module?

Any other suggestions?

My programmers asked $5K (this is $CAN 5000) for include an e-commerce-like section in Silverstripe site.

Ive laughed then i cried.....

I am using SwipeStripe, but think I could have had the same result with the standard E-commerce module and additional payment modules.

You should tell your programmer he's dreaming though. Swipestripe is $247 (USD) and really isn't much more than a folder you drop into the root folder of your website (of course running a ?flush=1 on /dev/build/ to finish.)

Swipestripe ecommerce module and silverstripe ecommerce module are two different ecommerce modules.

Silverstripes ecommerce module is free, however swipestripe is Paid and the current release doesn't work with SS3.0 (It does have a free trial).

I would suggest looking at the shop module (http://www.silverstripe.org/e-commerce-module-forum/show/20014), it looks very clean.
