Checkout Page Not Showing

Hi guys,
This is my first crack at installing the e-commerce module. Everything was going well until I try and checkout. Upon clicking the checkout button the page just redirects to my home page.. I had a look through the code and traced the link down to $EcomConfig.CheckoutLink
Is this something I have to add into my config?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Which ecommerce module are you using and which version of Silverstripe are you installing it on?
it depends which module you're trying to use as to which help you need ;)
you might need to add a payment module too
I'm working on a SS3 branch of the burnbright/silverstripe-shop module on github.
My one is at wildflower1975/silverstripe-shop
I found i had to add something to the Cart/Checkout page template to get it to work, i can't remember what but you should be able to checkout my version

Thanks! That seemed to solve the issue I was having. I've nearly got it nailed. Everything seems to be working except for the redirect from paypal back to my test site... I have followed the available documentation but i've hit a dead end
It keeps redirecting to my test url/page not found
any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?
