Am just needing to add a small shop to an existing 2.4.12 site, which is going to be upgraded to 3.1 next year.
So I have a free free choice of modules.
Which to use though? Preferrably one that I can upgrade without too much down time.
I'm drawn to ss-shop, but any views??
Well for a modern vibrant product its eerily quiet in here!
In the end I went with the ecommerce module v2.5 and payment .3 and am well under way still on 2.4.13 at the mo.
Swipestripe would have been first choice but we are a small uk charity and can't afford even the very reasonable licence.
Silvercart is too quiet for my liking...ss-shop is great too, but I found more snippets and forum help for ecommerce so it won by a whisker.
I may spend some time combining endless includes, although I do like the separation it must affect performance.
