Hi,

has anyone used swipestripe and translatable modules?

The problem comes in if you add multiple products from different languages. Then - you get only part of the items.
I imagine, that solution for this problem could be done in few different cases:
by adding one product, add the same product at all languages or
at cart product display show all products.

Has anybody done anything to solve such problem? Maybe there are more simple ways?

Someone has used one of the translatable modules with a cart yes, iirc it was for a French Canadian shop. I'm not sure which translatable module was used, I'd love to see someone try and use the fluent module with Swipestripe personally!

At the end of the day products in Swipestripe are simply pages, the most important thing is to have the correct price returned when a product is added to a cart regardless of locale. Hope that helps :-)

Hi,

as mentioned i used translatable, configured for 2 languages.
Assuming we have a product Prod1 in two languages we have Prod1_lang1 and Prod1_lang2.
When adding the same product in lang1 and lang2, we have two different products, as their product id are different (product maps are different when compared at cart).

Additionally, as localization is different, if page is in lang1 we would see product description in lang1 and lang2 - would be empty. The same situation after switching languages.

So it would be interesting how people deal with this problem

I can see why it would be a bit tricky, I don't have much experience in this area but it seems like the fluent module works slightly differently to translatable which might make it a bit easier to integrate in this instance. Interested to hear how you get on though!
