Multiple productgroups in CMS ?

hei!
Happy new year to all of you
We have problems with getting the same function in ecommerce as the demo site has. We have not upgraded to CMS version 2.3.0. Is it possible to get the same function with productgroups in CMS 2.2.3? And how to implement it?
(the function we need is that table "product groups" on product automatically get updated when new productgroups are made anywhere?)

This would be part of of the new Ecommerce module not CMS 2.3.0.
I *almost* have it working (with 2.3.0 and ecommerce 0.60) but I had to fix some bugs. Be particularly aware that your theme will probably not work and there is a bug (simple to fix!) in the reports that prevent you changing the order status, i.e completing orders.
