How Do I Paginate Product Group?

I searched the forum but the threads I found were over a year old and didn't work. I thought there might be a built in process in one of he newer versions of the module any help would be greatly appreciated

is the page that I would really like to paginate takes WAY to long to load with that many items

I've been looking for an easy to follow tutorial as well,
As a stop gap I've used the jQuery Lazyload plugin to delay the loading of images below the fold.
