A module for connecting to external content sources from SilverStripe, and making items from those remote sources available to use within SilverStripe as though they were native SilverStripe content. Additionally, these external content items can then be imported and transformed into SilverStripe as complete SilverStripe managed objects.
This module requires the use of separate Connector types to be usable
The External Content module strives to provide a simple and consistent method for users to work with external content sources. The underlying API is structured to allow developers to quickly come up with simple integration points for external systems, and get content form those systems surfaced as quickly as possible in SilverStripe.
Please see http://github.com/nyeholt/silverstripe-external-content for the most up-to-date information about this module. This page will be maintained, however it may lag behind updates in the git repository.
