Multilingual country dropdown

Hello,
I was looking around in the GeoIp and CountryDropdown. It seems that country names are not being translated.
What to do if I would like the country names to be displayed in another language?
Does it require a code change? If so, what should be changed? Should I extends both classes or so?Regards, Jeroen.
