I am a complete silverstripe idiot. I had some one get me started and I have done well with building the site but not with trouble shooting. I build a form and it works great, but when users submit it, it will not go to my email. I need the silverstripe for idiots solution.

Thanks

Some more details would help. What sort of form have you built? Have you built it using UserForms or via PHP code?

If you are using UserForms you need to ensure you have a 'Email Recipient' setup under the tab of the same name. You may also need to ensure the 'From' address is a valid from address.

Also check your spam folder.

I build a form so members of my association cold register for a conference and another form for them to sign up for a membership. I used the forms builder (userforms). It was working fine, and all of a sudden nothing. I have the email recipient set and have checked the spam box. When a friend originally set this up a few years ago, I remember we had to add an email address in some script somewhere. Any ideas on where I should look and what I have to add.

Check under the email recipient that you have a 'From' address as well as a 'To' address as either missing could result in it not being sent.
