Validate w/o javascript - SS Demo

If I disable javascript and submit (empty fields!) the form on the SS demo:
http://demo.silverstripe.com/contact-us/I get redirected to the homepage - instead of returning to the form.
Can I alter this behaviour in my forms with out-of-the-box validation?Thanks!

Hi Richie,
you could use the module NetefxValidator for any kind of php validation.
This modules give you much more possibilities of validation than just "required".
But its just for serverside validation.
