Email Form in SS - Where do I start? Help!

Hello all,
I am new to SS and looking for some guidance in creating a simple email contact form. I realize that you cannot simply embed the php within the html as is custom. Thanks!

If it really is just a simple form then have a look at the userforms module here http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=modules:userforms there is also a tutorial on using forms -its a bit trickier but worth learning if your going to be using forms a bit http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=tutorial:3-forms
