Purge form submission log

Form submissions are logged, but is there a function to purge them, other than directly in the database?
Also, the checkbox group field will not add to my form, but other form elements do get added.Thanks,

I just removed the data from the 2 form submission tables - submittedform & submittedformfield. Not the most elegent way to do it but it works
