This forum cancels my login in one hour even if I set "Log me in automatically" check box on the login form. Am I the only who experiences such issue?

I posted this message in to this forum section because I suppose that silverstripe forum is built on Forum Module. If I'm wrong I'm sorry in advance for posting into the inappropriate section.
Well the session / log in information only lasts as long as the cookie / session time out settings on the server. The forum module doesn't do any of its own member session management. Thats all left up to the core. Not sure if this is configurable, I'm sure there is ways to extend the logged in cookie time tho. If anyone has any ideas I would be happy to implement.
