Tag Field Module

Installed Forum, when going to the moderator tab, there is a link to install tagfield module. Install tagfield module and there is nothing on the page. Trying to understand what the tag filed module does and is it needed to run a forum?

It is needed to power the user selection tool for moderators of that forum. Once you have installed it you should see a Text field for 'Moderators' so that you can enter the users who have access to specific admin features in the forum.
