Hey there,
it would be quite easier to answer fresh problems of others if there would be something like a 'latest posts' view in this forum. Almost as usefull could it be if read posts would be marked somehow. I really would like to give something back to this forum and these functions would make it easier. (Or do they already exists and I'm just to stupid to find them? ;))

Well I personally subscribe to the RSS feed for the whole forum which works. Doing a 'read posts' functionality is a welcome enhancement and a ticket has been raised - http://open.silverstripe.org/ticket/3396.
