Search doesn't search titles of posts

Forum module - trunk 84981
SS - 2.3.3
Theme - using Blackcandy if that mattersWhen I do a search for a term that only appears in the title of the post, I get "There are no results for those word(s)."
I do get search results when I search for a term that appears in the body of the post or the author.

this is how the module is programmed i think. I had the same problem and did some customizations to search for the titles of the forum posts. If I could find the code I will post it on the forum.
