Old passwords still work when changing them in security admin?

27 November 2009 at 7:28am
Hi,
First off, sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, but i couldnt figure where to place it.
I have noticed that when you change admins password from the security admin, the old passwords still work. Im currently using http://svn.silverstripe.com/open/modules/cms/tags/rc/2.3.4-rc1/ for my cms but i have noticed this in earlier versions aswell.
Is this a feature or a bug? Are there anyone else experiencing the same?
