Is it possible using the forms module to develop a form where fields are mathematically added together (ie a quote form ) .

The site has a form where customers can enter the quantities required of the product and it calculates a final $ value.
ie 5 widgets at $2 each. so user enters 5 and it puts the total in readonly text box.

Can I use JQuery or my own piece of jscript to do this?

No not actually selling that sort of product, I just want a form where a customer can make a tentative quote and then it is emailed. I'll investigate JQuery
