How to minimize RAM usage

12 January 2010 at 5:52pm
Hey there,
I am attempting to run multiple SilverStriple sites on a VPS with 512MB of RAM, and it does work as long as only one of them is accessing the /admin/ section at a time... but that's not good enough.
How can I minimize my RAM usage? Caching etc... - my sites have forms on them, but the actual content doesn't change much.
Thanks very much,
David -

As long as you don't have too much dynamic content, this should be what you need: http://doc.silverstripe.org/doku.php?id=staticpublisher
Forms don't matter with that caching. Note, it only caches the front end site, not the backend CMS
