Creating New VirtualPageType

I need to create a new VirtualPage Type so that I can get better control over how it interacts with the original DataObjects
I copied the file and renamed the controllers, however when I Save the NewVirtualPage in the CMS it doesn't copy the PageName and NavigationLabel information from the original.
