Rename a class / page

I have a live site with a page type / class called "Product". Today I wanted to add the ecommerce module, but this has (surprisingly! ;-) also a class called "Product".
Simply renaming the file, the references within the code and renaming the database tables does not work.
How can I rename a page type?
