Hello,

is there a way to disable google sitemaps? or can i just remove the folder and its ok?

I ask because i uploaded the silverstripe folder to the webserver. The site should not yet be indexed by google. So I added a robots.txt file to the server. But the customer should be able to add content right now. I´ve read google sitemaps is catacting google actively, if a page was updated. I thought there could be problems if I block the site to google and in contrast google sitemaps is binging google.

mmh what do you think,

many thanks,
florian
