Hi,

Anyone have suggestions on how to restrict global access to a Silverstripe site? I.e. through htaccess protection? Putting htaccess protection on breaks file uploads in the CMS (SWFUpload issue specifically I think).

I need this so client test sites are not publicly available, yet available on the web, through any client with the right auth ..

BasicAuth is the easiest way but yes it does have some issues with swfuUpload, if you want to use the existing security / login model in SS and you're using the 2.4 beta then you can see global access on the Site Configuration page.
