Hi everyone,

I am facing problems in saving and publishing pages on my website, (it hangs and freezes with no response at all, some time I can't even see the content of the page), however it works quite well when I delete or unpublish.

Here is some details that might help you figure out the problem:
cms: 2.3.0-rc2, sapphire: 2.3.0-rc2, jsparty: 2.2.2

One more detail, I don't know if it is relevant or not, but I have a partial view of the site content page, it's not showing properly.

I would appreciate any suggestion, thanks.

Hi shatahet,

Do you have access to the server's php logs? That might provide some clue as to what the problem may be.

Hey,

Thanks for answering. I am sorry I don't have access to it.

First of all I would try and upgrade to the current (stable!!) version of SilverStripe, and definitely not use the old release candidate... If that's no option for whatever reason, there's a couple of things you can try. what browser are you using?

Try and install Firebug on Firefox and see if there's any javascript errors.

Use SilverStripe dev mode to see if any php errors pop up. Put the following line in your /mysite/_config.php:

Director::set_environment_type("dev");

Good luck :-)
