Security/register

How do you make your site have a Register through the subdirectory Security.
I tried to add it, but never works!! -

No user registration built in. You have to write your own signup page. The registration module has some example code you could try out to make a register form - http://open.silverstripe.org/browser/modules/registration/trunk.
