URL Rewriting on SilverStripe

Hi. I have questions about url rewriting in silverstripe.
1) How I can run simple php scripts in silverstripe installed directory? Example: site.com/myscript.php will be process by sapphire on silverstripe
2) Where can I change admin login url fromtomysite.com/admin
?mysite.com/something-else
As I know I can solve these problems by .htaccess rules, is it so?
