Hello,

Building a nice website with SS 2.3.7 and want to make a log-in part. Registering is not neccessary.

After log-in users get redirected to a special members page where they can download .PDF files. That's it.

Is there a recommended module for this?

Thx

Regards
Rob

I guess for what you want to achieve you can just use the built-in features you can find under the 'access' tab on your page.

You mean the access option in the CMS?

Because the users should not get into the CMS, just a page with downloadable files on the website.

If understood you wrong, where can I find this build in module with access?

Thank you!

Nu-uh.. ;-)

You can set front-end access rights by using the standard features in Silverstripe... Just have a look at the Access Tab ....

Ok found it, and set the option to:

Who can view this page?

-> Logged-in users

And logged in with my account and it works, nice.

But how do I create accounts which only have permission to log-in on this page?
Because when I add accounts in SilverStripe they can also access the CMS when logged in! And they shouldnt have CMS access.

Couldnt find a permission in the account setting for this, need something like: "User can view only website + logged in pages, but cant access CMS"

Please help! :)

Use group permission and redirect after login.
