CMS Login Hangs

When I try to login to the CMS it hangs. It does authenticate because when I hit the frontend, the SilverStripe navigator appear at the bottom of the page.
I imported a database dump from my local machine to the dev server. Would that have caused the issue?

When you say "it hangs", does that mean it sits on the SilverStripe logo when you attempt to enter the CMS?
If this is the case, there's probably a javascript error. Try using Firebug extension for Firefox to get the error from the console and paste it in this thread.
