wrong file-attributes after upload

Hi there!
I'm using SS for a view websites and the newest one with SS 2.4. They're all running on the same server and I never had a problem like the following on.
When I upload some files [ there is no difference between img, pdf, etc. ] with the backend of SS version 2.4 the attributes are set on 640. By all the other websites with the older versions of SS the attributes are set right to 644.
For sure, I can set the attributes with a ftp-client, but I don't understand why. Someone an idea what's going wrong?
