How to cancel a member

I am new to Silver Stripe, and I am new to coding. I was given instructions a while ago about how to cancel a member from my website, but I don't know where to make those changes. I was wondering if someone could give me a step by step instruction on how to create this cancellation of a member. I just don't know where to place the codes.

You don't actually need to code anything to remove a member. Just log in to /admin and go to the Security page.

but I have a website where a new user signs up, and creates a password for them self. What I want to do is cancel a member from my website.

Under the security page you can change member details, and delete them if you like.

also, if you change their password to be nothing they get locked out.
