'strange' pages showing up in cms

I logged in to my cms this morning and found "extra pages." I seem to be able to delete them just fine. There were about 7-8 of them. Not saying this had anything at all to do with it, but the last thing I did before logging in this morning was to create a new data object and set up dataObjectsManager to manage it. Ironically there are 8 entries in the object being managed.
Ideas?
