Images thumbnails on "from the file store" select

Hi Guys,
is it actually possible to view a thumbnail image once we select "from the file store"? Cos right now we can only see the image name and I was wondering if it was possible to view a thumbnail.

I have the same problem on ss 2.4.3 install. I can see the image in the asset/Uploads folder but if i go to the url it wont show I only get an 500 intrenal server error. if I go to the tab files & images and clik on teh image I can only get name and not the images. Did you solve your problem?

^^ i had the same problem with php running as FastCGi and maybe you can blame your .htaccess file in your /assets folder as well
