OK, this will be the first time I have dealt with this type of problem with the sapphire framework.
What I need to do is accept data via a custom url, that I can then use in the system.
here is a reference page for the service I wish to integrate: http://groups.google.com/group/pingfm-developers/web/working-with-a-custom-url?pli=1
I believe this should be one of the easiest examples of doing this and a great place for me to start.
So how do I define a URL that is publicly open and secure? that will accept this data?
appreciate any help on this...
PS: this could make for a good tutorial ;) ... or anyone know of one already that deals with this?

Well, why not use urlParams to handle that?
Then you could have data returned via a url like: domain.com/pingfm/receive
All you'd have to build is a function called receive() in your Page controller that handles whatever's posted back to your site.
