ie8 and /admin login not working

Hi,
not sure if this is my own isolated problem or if it is silverstripe and internet explorer 8.
but this is for all (currently 4) of my websites using silverstripe: logging in to the backend editing for the websites work in all browsers except internet explorer (tried ie8),anyone else experiencing the same thing? or is it something I missed.

Seems to be a somewhat isolated issue. I have never experienced a problem, but some others do.
I think it might have something to do with firewall/antivirus configuration maybe?

One of my clients (and their web users) also reports this issue. Seems rather vague, but they all have IE8. Password reset: still unable to login (does work on other computer, however). Restarting the browser solves the issue.
