multilingual api access

Hello,
I have searched the forums and docs to find out how to access translated dataobjects with api/v1/MyDataObject but could not find anything. Somoeone know how to query them? I'd expect something like http://mydomain.com/api/v1/MyDataObject/2?locale=en_US but this does not work.

Just in case someone else is looking for a solution:
Use http://mydomain.com/api/v1/MyDataObject/?locale=en_US
instead of
http://mydomain.com/api/v1/MyDataObject/2?locale=en_USAnd api multilanguage support is done.
