Newbie looking for tutorials.

1 April 2011 at 1:45am
I know, I'm sure this has been asked time and time again, if not, here I go.
I'm looking for tutorials mainly on the structure and understanding of how SS works,
Or anything to help me understand how to code for the CMS of SS,
I'm trying to create a module for it, I just started learning a week ago,
so any and all help is appreciated
I know I have my work cut out for me with the learning I'm going to have to do,
so thank you in advance ^_^ -

Of course the best tutorial is the sivlerstripe book - I've re-read it after a year and its amazing what fine details I missed...

Another decent resource is http://www.balbus.tk/bits/
If you have a decent background in PHP or OOP you can follow along with what he is doing. Otherwise he doesn't explain things thoroughly for a beginner.

I second swaiba, i keep flicking back to the book on a weekly basis, not being a proper coder i need the guidance and the starting points the book gives you.
