TinyMCE appears and disappears

4 April 2011 at 10:57pm
I have a curious problem with the TinyMCE Editor.
I'm using SS 2.4.5.
In the admin section the Tiny Editor is not loaded.
But the next day on the same computer with the same browser the editor was loaded correctly.
Ok, that's good, but after another 24hours i logged in again and the editor is not loaded.
So the problem is someday the editor works fine and the other day there is no editor. Is this a known bug ?
Can someone help?

After a complete reinstall of ss 2.4.5 the TinyMCE doesn't work at all.
How can i control the TinyMCE to load or not load in the CMS?

which browser are you using?
(actually I've seen it work in most)are you using other modules?
You can control this by changing the getCMSFields() function to replaceField for teh required field - are you talking about the content field for editting a page? or something else?

I'm using Firefox 4.0.
No modules, just a fresh install. Now I tried Chrome 10.0.648 and here it works!
It is a known problem with Firefox 4?

Ok, now i isolate the problem to the directory ss is installed on the server.
If ss is installed on the root directory on the server all works fine also with Firefox4.
But when ss is installed in a subdirectory on the server the TinyMCE only works in Chrome10It's seem to be a problem with a relativ or absolute path in a configuration file in SS.
Have someone a idea how to resolve this problem?
