We're having an issue where the content is appearing on the site in live and draft mode but not in the content area in the CMS.

I've checked the database which looks to be fine.

I've created a Content function in the page controller which just returns a string which does not appear in the CMS content box either.

When inspecting the generated source the textarea field is empty.

Any ideas on what a possible cause might be?
