Image/File Object Upload Redirect Weirdness in CMS

I am currently running Silverstripe 2.4.5 successfully on a number of sites and I'm having a weird issue on one site only.
In the CMS, ImageField() and FileIFrameField() fields are loading up the image or file selected from the File Store, however the successfully loaded image shown is a redirect to the home or "/" address of the website.
The same occurs when an image or file is replaced in the CMS and when the user attempts to load an image or file from their local drive.
When you reload the CMS or navigate away and back, the correct image is shown.
This is quite confusing for my site authors and I've never had this issue previously. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
