sitemap.xml is empty

Hello there,
I installed SS and added several pages and I did not change the default values for "Google Sitemap" on each page, so each page now has a value there for its depth within the page tree. But if I call the sitemap.xml on http://mydomain.com/sitemap.xml it is always empty. Only for a single page in the third level, if I change the value to e.g. "3" then this page is within the sitemap.xml but no other.
What can I do here?

Well, while I wrote this topic I got an idea and it was right, I did not check the "Show in search" checkbox. Now everything is fine.

The same was happening to me, then I downloaded version 1.0 of googlesitemap and the sitemap tree was created successfully: https://github.com/silverstripe-labs/silverstripe-googlesitemaps/tree/1.0
