Try free PHP IDE - Codelobster PHP Edition - http://www.codelobster.com
You should add Silverstripe in the Project Properties.

Hi clod,

Can I ask whether "add Silverstripe in the Project Properties" means it is pre-setup to handle silverstipe - or you are suggesting setting up a "profile" called silverstripe and adding silverstripe specfic things... like templates for example?

Hy i'm new and coming from umbraco/kentico ASP Enviroment but still followed the steps silverstripe has gone and i'm impressed.

For Development i prefer using Espresso and NetBeans. Espresso gives me full completition in ss files "awesome".
