FYI: Safari AdBlock extension introduces spurious 'style classes' in TinyMCE

9 January 2012 at 11:59pm
I was going to post this as a question, but found the answer and so I thought I'd share it on the forum.
It appears that the AdBlock Safari extension introduces a stack of 'Styles' (dropdown menu) in TinyMCE. Wasn't sure where they were coming from, so I investigated.
Easy solution is to disable AdBlock for the domain.
VWD.

Similar thing with AVG injecting it's own javascript when the linkscanner is enabled. I've seen it make sites load forever on a facebook like button, and thought I must have done something wrong - but then it happened on other sites as well. This was a couple of months ago in FireFox, but still... I've seen it crash certain sites for a day as well, until they fixed it...
I hate it when these things happen, as if having all these different browser standards isn't enough...
