Export to CSV saves as ".csv.txt"?

A client of mine is using a mac, and is using the "export to CSV" button to export a ModelAdmin list. The CSV file she saves ends up with a double file extensions..."...csv.txt" file.
I can't duplicate the issue on a PC. Is this some kind of general mac issue? Or is it silverstripe related?

Sorry for the bump, just wanting to see if anyone else has come across this particular issue?
