Been trying to find some information on how to modify the built in commenting system. But all I find are some vague references to some people getting something to work or having some issue with something, but never any concrete answers or solutions.

So is there any? Like how do you change where that "post" button is placed? Or how it looks like? Or how do you make it possible for people to set a tittle? Since the rss looks like it is missing titles. Or how to set it so that the posts have different colors (like black, white, black, white, etc).

At the very least, what files do I edit? I found some stuff that can be changed in the _config file, but that seems like the long way around.

In 2.* releases the 2 templates you want are the cms/templates/PageCommentInterface.ss and the cms/template/PageCommentInterface_Single.ss template. Copy these files to your themes/themename/template folder and edit away, just like any other template in SS.

Most of the placement / colors are not controlled just via the HTML, you also need to edit the CSS file. Where the CSS is located within themes/yourtheme/css is up to what theme you're using.

Thank you, seeing the code helped a lot. But I can't seem to see the stuff about the post button, am I just being blind or is it somewhere else?. I don't want to do much to it, but it lacks padding so it looks all small and shriveled, want to at least make it look like the one here on the forum hehe.
