Hi all,

in CMS I've noticed that sometimes the dropdown list used to select which new page type wish to create fail to load (is empty) or list the page types allowed for the last page I've modified.

I cannot really understand why it happen, maybe it's a strange behaviour of $allowed_children? It happen either when $allowed_children list something or when its set to 'none'. But, I repeat, it happen random.

Any suggest?

After experiencing this problem, have you run /dev/build then tried again? Is this on your local machine or on a server somewhere?

I just experienced this again. My conditions are a flat tree of different page types where most disallow child pages: i.e.

Site:
-> page type 1 (no)
-> page type 2 (no)
-> page type 3 (no)
-> page type 4 (yes)
-> child page type 1
-> page type 5 (yes)
-> child page type 2
-> page type 6 (no)

Refreshing the browser to reload the CMS did not work. I had to click on an instance of a page type that allows child pages, click on a child page, then click on the parent page again. The page creation list dropdown was then restored to normal.

I'm running on a local XAMPP server - Mozilla Firefox - Windows XP SP3 (Linux people stop laughing and saying I deserve it!

With version 3 on the horizon it probably doesn't matter.
