It's been a while since I've checked out SS. Last time I remember there being a lot of talk about performance issues, and SS in general was a resource hog. I was wondering if that had been worked out. I'm interested in possibly making this my primary CMS for personal and client work. If all performance issues have not been addressed, what's left and what's the plan to fix them.

AFAIK in the 2 year gap since you last posted - nothing much on SS2.4.x

However it is a major component of SS3 and that is in beta2 - so hopefully a stable release by the end of the year - I've tried out the CMS part of it briefly and it is a lot faster
