Hello All

have finally come back to this problem had to leave it for a while but i need to get it solved now.

i am trying to get a sequential number for a each record in a databoject, I cannot use the Record ID for this.

In a Previous Post swiba posted a snippet for me (Thank you) i could not get this to work however it would do what i want it to so its likely i have not done something correct.

also one thing to note is that the field no matter what i do the field always has a default value of 0 i have tried changing this.
