Customize format dropdown of tinyMCE editor

Hello all,
in the silverstripe backend I would like to customize the tinyMCE editor and its options in the formats dropdown... h1, h2, etc...
I would like to have just the formats appear that are really needed and then also change their names.Is there a recommended way to do that?
