Copy files on create specific folder

Hi, i am trying to copy some files on creating a new folder with the asset manager. But i am not sure where to start? I have registered Object::add_extension('AssetAdmin', 'AnlagenAssets'); in _config.php and tried to decorate theDO (class AnlagenAssets extends DataObjectDecorator).
But how do i have to hack the addfolder() function and start an after write action? Hope anybody can help?
