I was wondering if there is a way to have SilverStripe upload and read uploads to another folder outside the web root or even on another server or NAS.

I am thinking of creating a sort of Document Management System for internal use but will need to have the documents stored in a different location for security and backup - possible on a NAS.

Still new to SilverStripe so any and all help/ideas would be appreciated.
